Successful candidates should have the knowledge and understanding of:

  • The significant legislation and how that affects the activities of the business
  • The needs for, and factors involved in, the provision and maintenance of 'safe places of work relating to the construction industry'
  • Recognise the significant hazards associated with construction activities and the implementation of safe systems of work
  • Understand the requirements for working safely
